Beyond the IDE: Engineering for Startups

Coding is just part of the journey. In order to create better AI/ML and web systems, I became a Founding Technical Member of our Entrepreneurship Club during 2024-25 academic year.

Let me illustrate my lessons learned from connecting between pure engineering and commercial applications.

• Web Development - I designed the web interfaces and platforms to drive up hackathon participation. • Operations - I took charge of event equipment movements and presentations.

• Startup Mechanics - I got trained on lead generation, product developments and cross-functional team interactions.

A talented developer is someone who knows the business problems he or she is trying to solve, and I plan to continue using this product-oriented approach in my current Python and FastAPI architecture.
